The reverse of the coin features a portrait of Mykolas Kleopas Oginskis – the artist and politician, participant in the Kosciuszko Uprising and Grand Treasurer of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. A sheet music of his well-known polonaise Farewell to the Homeland are depicted on the reverse of a coin.

The obverse of the coin depicts a coat-of-arms of the Republic of Lithuania, inscriptions LIETUVA (Lithuania), the year of issue 2015, denomination 20 € and a hat. The mintmark of the Mint is impressed on the obverse of the coin.

On the edge of the coin M. K. Oginskis’ words TĖVYNĖS LABUI ĮNEŠU SĄVĄJĄ DALĮ * are inscribed.
