- Our projects
It is no secret that in order to achieve something, it is not enough to follow paths walked. Primitive thinking rarely promises great opportunities, thus, to open all doors, you need to be bold and look for original solutions. This is what the second coin in the Fairy Tales series, “The Princess and the Pea”, reminds us.
Original solutions
Creators of the Lithuanian Mint continue the Fairy Tales series with the delightful latest coin, “The Princess and the Pea”, a piece of impressive beauty. The main message of the work – while travelling through life, let us avoid hasty conclusions and boring, primitive solutions. After all, with ingenuity, we can see and achieve much more than expected.
Being curious gives us unlimited opportunities to learn new things, to apply our ideas at work or in our personal lives. Even if it didn’t work out the first time, you don’t get discouraged and try a second time, a third… Sometimes, brilliant ideas are born even on the tenth attempt. Moreover, people with an original mindset are highly valued in society t. They are not afraid to take risks and make mistakes; therefore, they always get what they want.
Subtle details – big discoveries
The second coin in the Fairy Tale series features a young, ordinary girl whose royal identity is established in a very ingenious way – by testing her sensitivity through a green Swarovski pea-sized stone.
The reverse of the coin shows a girl surrounded by a princess’s room full of various cosy details.
The obverse of the coin features a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The coin is produced using high relief, UV printing and ageing techniques. “The Princess and the Pea” is sold in a special round white box decorated with tiny peas.
